The law

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, 17 U.S.C. §512, gives copyright owners recourse when material appearing on the internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law.

How to send a notice

If you believe in good faith that content made available through this website infringes your copyright, you or your agent may send a written notice asking that it be removed or access to it blocked.

What the notice must contain

1. A description of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed.

2. A description of the allegedly infringing content, with enough information for us to find it.

3. Your contact information: address, telephone number and email.

4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement, signed under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

6. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized person.

Leaving any of this out may delay the handling of your complaint.

Where to send it

Notices about listing content that arrived through the MLS data feed must go to the feed provider's designated agent. Notices about anything else on this site go to the brokerage's designated agent. Both addresses are published here once designated; until then, write to the broker from the contact page and it will be routed.
